The Grand Brighton hotel has unveiled its newly restored façade following a multi-million pound investment project on its 154-year old exterior.
The hotel has undergone a major refurbishment project, resulting in new windows, a restoration of the balconies and rendering to its Victorian seafront façade.
The project began at the start of 2017 and marks the final stage of a wider refresh of the whole property. The hotel’s interiors received an investment through a soft refurbishment programme of 105 bedrooms and the installation of air conditioning across all rooms.
Last year the front of house team were also given new uniforms from design-led tailor Gresham Blake.
Andrew Mosley, general manager at The Grand Brighton, comments: “We are so pleased to reveal our brand new facade to the community and our fellow industry colleagues. Since becoming an independent hotel in 2014, our owners have invested a significant amount in the hotel and this project is testament to our ongoing commitment to our customers and to improving the guest experience at The Grand.
“The Grand is one of Brighton’s most treasured icons with a well-known and storied history and it’s brilliant to celebrate our incredible hotel that is truly ‘like no other’ with a refreshed look and well-deserved accolade for the team.”
