The Grove of Narberth has opened six new luxury suites, which has been designed by acclaimed interior designer Martin Hulbert.
The owners of the Welsh boutique Neil Kedward and Zoe Agar unveiled the new offering this month, alongside a refurbished Daniel & Elizabeth suite in the main house.
Each of the six suites is a ‘one-off’ but all share similar touches of local culture and their environment, championing local materials such as coal, slate, wood and wool, while original art from local artists hangs on the wall.
Four poster beds, leather-lined wardrobes, walk-in showers, roll-top baths and locally-sourced antiques are other highlights in the bedrooms, as well as traditional Welsh items that have been reimagined, such as miner’s lanterns converted into lamps.
Neil Kedward, owner of The Grove of Narberth says: “Working with Martin Hulbert Design has been a revelation for the Grove of Narberth. Our eyes have been opened to just how much is on our doorstep here, and the hotel has been bought bang up to date at the same time. We are so excited to be stepping into the next chapter of our story with Martin’s interiors at the forefront”
The partnership between the Grove of Narberth and Martin Hulbert Design is set to continue; phase two will see Martin Hulbert Design refurbish three drawing rooms in the luxury family owned and run hotel.
