The Hoxton Holborn all set for September

The Hoxton, East London’s award winning boutique hotel, is heading to High Holborn as the second instalment in the series launches in September.

The Hoxton Holborn will be located within a Grade-II listed building and feature 174 bedrooms spread over five floors. The new hotel will officially open its doors on September 25th.

It will be the second hotel to open up under The Hoxton umbrella, the first being The Hoxton in Shoreditch, which has made a significant impact on the market since its launch in 2006.

The rooms at The Hoxton in Holborn have been designed to maximise comfort, space and style, with duck-down duvets and 280 thread count linen on every bed. The en-suites are tiled in a striking black and white combination, with walk-in showers and a range of new Pen and Ink amenities.

Guests can also take advantage of the complimentary healthy breakfast bags on offer, by hanging a special paper bag outside the room door, which is then filled overnight with a granola yogurt, banana and carton of orange juice.

The new addition in Holborn will imitate its East London sister, with the hotel’s public spaces being run in partnership with The Soho House group. The hotel will also feature a main restaurant in an industrial-style conservatory space, while in the basement the Chicken Shop dishes out rotisserie chicken. The ground floor will be home to Holborn Grind, run by the company behind popular coffee house, Shoreditch Grind. There will also be a salon in residence.

The hotel’s meetings and events space is also part of a collaboration with Soho House. Aptly named The Apartment, the area consists of individually designed meeting rooms all set around an open plan kitchen.

The Hoxton Holborn also stands by its ‘no rip-off’ policy with free WiFi throughout, one hour of free phone calls to landlines in the UK, USA, Australia and most of Europe, as well as a lobby shop with prices on par with supermarkets.
