The Midland in Manchester has now launched its new spa, which is aiming to be the ‘go-to’ day spa in the city for locals.
The Spa at The Midland opened in June comes complete with 8 treatment rooms, relaxation spaces, gym and a poolside thermal area.
The vast range of treatments offered include a section focused on ‘urban’ beauty, with 3D Skintech machine assisted facials – the first of its kind in Manchester – and a selection of face and body treatments from ESPA and nails by Jessica.
There is also an express spa menu and ‘rush hour’ spa day concept, which enables those guests short on time to benefit from quick massages and mini treatments.
In the relaxation area guests can choose to rest in the Big Sleep, chill in the Relaxation Pods or take a seat in their own business class Airtime chair.
Guests can choose their own playlist of music to listen to before their treatment as well.
A poolside thermal area features a salt-infused aromatherapy steam room, a swan neck fountain experience, Caribbean storm and Arctic rain showers and al Alder wood sauna with Himalayan salt block wall.
There is also a Rasul for two people with the option of tailored muds and clays.
The new gym is open for membership for a maximum of 200 people.
Helena Grzesk, director of spa at The Spa at The Midland, said “We are incredibly proud and excited to have opened Manchester’s new luxury spa which offers a real escape from city life. We have introduced a spa journey like no other with opportunities for our guests to slow down, catch up with friends and loved ones or benefit from treatments which give real results. The Spa at The Midland is a premium spa, beauty and fitness destination for people in Manchester and beyond and we look forward to giving them a warm welcome!”
