A crowdsourced collection of the 100 must-see, must-do and must-experience things that visitors should do when in the Cotswolds has been launched by The Old Stocks Inn.
The new venture comes as the striking boutique hotel, located in Stow-on-the-Wold steps up its game to encourage guests to enjoy all the Cotswolds has to offer.
The Old Stocks Inns launched a PR and social media campaign earlier in the year to encourage local residents to nominate the aspects of the region that visitors must experience on their next trip.
The result was the ‘ultimate’ insider’s guide to the Cotswolds, put together by the hotel’s local team to include secret woodland walks, local microbreweries, the best photographic viewpoints and restaurants.
Charlotte Knowles, general manager at The Old Stocks Inn said: “Being able to celebrate the best of the Cotswolds with our guests and visitors to the region is a key aspect of our values. Through creating The Cotswold Bucket List, we’ve not only been able to build upon our local knowledge, but have also been able to involve many Cotswolds residents and businesses in the process.”
Guests are automatically given the guide when they stay at the hotel, while visitors to the region can download a PDF of The Cotswold Bucket List from www.cotswoldbucketlist.com free of charge. Alternatively, the full list can be viewed online so that visitors can discover new things to see and do via their mobile phones on the go.
The hotel plans to update The Cotswold Bucket List annually, ensuring it is as up to date as possible.
