The Pig Hotel in Brockenhurst was the destination for the 15th Hampshire Food Festival this weekend, as more than 100 invited guests enjoyed the boutique hotel’s top quality hospitality.
The hotel, part of the Robin Hutson empire, treated guests to canapés made by chefs at The Pig, while also encouraging local producers to engage with visitors sharing stories of their food and drink and giving out tasters.
The Pig Hotel’s talented duo James Golding and Dan Gover also took centre stage at the event’s demonstration kitchen, showing off their culinary flair and expertise.
Supporting this event showcases the prestigious boutique’s dedication to its local community.
Speaking to the Basingstoke Gazette, Mike Wright, chairman of Hampshire Fare commented: “For July’s Hampshire Food Festival, we have supported local producers, farms, pubs, restaurants and hotels to put on an enticing offer of over 75 events.
“There is something for all ages and all tastes and we really encourage people to get out there and discover the delicious food and drink on our doorstep.”
Events this year included farm and vineyard tours, pop-up dining experiences, jam and chocolate making classes, and cooking demonstrations.
