The Wood Norton appoints new food and beverage manager

Top Worcestershire hotel, The Wood Norton, has appointed new F&B manager Jorge Pereira, who joins from The Welcombe Hotel in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Pereira boasts more than 15 years’ experience in the hospitality sector, with stints in Clivedon House and Leamington Spa’s Restaurant 23.

He will be responsible for the day-to-day running of The Wood Norton’s Rosette Fleur de Lys restaurant, together with the newly-launched Fleur de Sel Brasserie, which opened on May 30.

Pereira said: “I am extremely proud to have joined one of Worcestershire’s most luxurious hotels at such an exciting time. Aside from running the popular Fleur de Lys restaurant, I am very much looking forward to the challenge of increasing awareness of the new Fleur de Sel Brasserie, which I am sure will be very popular with guests who don’t want the formal dining experience.”

The Fleur de Sel Brasserie was born out of The Wood Norton’s ‘Old Kitchen’, and now offers hotel guests and members of the local community an alternative menu to the Fleur de Lys.

He will be an excellent asset to our team moving forwards, and has already come up with some fantastic ideas for how we can improve our food and beverage offering. I am in no doubt he will be a hit with both team members and guests alike.”

Located just outside of Evesham, The Wood Norton is a Grade-II listed Victorian manor house originally crafted for French royalty. The hotel officially reopened in 2012 and has since gone from strength to strength.
