The hotly-anticipated launch of The Zetter Townhouse Marylebone has now been officially scheduled for August 14.
The quirky boutique, which will mark the third addition to The Zetter portfolio, will be a 24-bedroom Georgian townhouse and cocktail lounge and is set to cause a stir in the market when it opens next month.
Located on Seymour Street in Marylebone in London, the property boasts eclectic features that the Zetter name has become renowned for, giving the feel of a private home of an eccentric relative rather than a conventional hotel.
Like its sister properties, The Zetter and The Zetter Townhouse in Clerkenwell, London, the new property has a story behind it; being home to ’Wicked Uncle Seymour’ and its interiors have been inspired by this theme.
The interiors have been designed by Russell Sage and reflect the fictional owner’s colourful character.
The Zetter Townhouse Marylebone comes complete with a rooftop apartment and terrace alongside its 21 bedrooms, 2 studio suites and cocktail lounge.
The rooftop apartment, occupying the whole top floor, has its own private staircase, dressing room and terrace complete with outdoor roll top bath.
Within the property there are 7 categories of rooms, each featuring individual collections of antique furniture and reclaimed beds, ranging from four-posters to Emperor beds.
The ground floor will host Seymour’s Parlour, a cocktail lounge with menus by Bruno Loubet and drinks made in collaboration with Tony Conigilaro.
The Zetter Townhouse Marylebone will also be available to hire exclusively and is offering guests the chance to stay in certain room types in the first three weeks of opening at 50% off.
