An award-winning hotel has come up for sale which combines three businesses within one property, presenting an exciting new opportunity for a new owner.
The Redwell country inn is on the market with Fleurets, who have been instructed by owners Sue and Dennis Talbot to sell the freehold interest for the seven-bedroom hotel in Lancashire.
The bar and restaurant area has been completely refurbished and can cater for 70 covers, while the seven bedrooms were revamped and opened in November 2014.
There is also a two-bedroom private flat, and plus the inclusion of the Lune Valley Smokehouse towards the rear of the building.
The property is on the market for £695,000.
Lesley Watmough from Fleurets commented: “This unique operation is situated in the heart of the Lune Valley; so the Smokehouse is aptly named. The property offers a potential buyer scope to further develop the wholesale and retail sales aspect of the business.”
The property reputedly dates back to 1640, when it operated as a working farm. It has since evolved through many uses, including an auction room, courthouse and a disco venue.
Since trading as the Redwell Country Inn, the business has acquired several awards, including twice winner of the Lancashire and Blackpool Tourism Awards as well as a having attained VisitEngland Award for Excellence.
