A leading boutique hotel in the north east of England is offering guests a special Yves Saint Laurent-inspired ‘luxury break’ complete with private tours, chauffeurs and helicopter rides.
Seaham Hall on Durham’s Heritage Coast is inviting customers to combine their stay at its property with a visit to the UK’s first-ever YSL exhibition taking place at the Bowes Museum in the nearby market town of Barnard Castle.
The ‘Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal’ exhibition runs from 11 July to 25 October, and the owners of Seaham Hall, which boasts five stars, are keen to ensure guests can experience the luxury treatment the occasion warrants.
It has created three separate packages – dubbed ‘The Yves’, The Saint’ and ‘The Laurent’ – that are available for theduration of the exhibition.
The starting package costs £85 and includes a night in one of its junior suites and breakfast in its award-winning restaurant, while the second package, costing £1,000, runs to two-nights and includes a champagne arrival. A three-course dinner is also provided on both nights, while a chauffeur transfer will take guests to the museum where they will enjoy a private curated tour of the YSL exhibition.
The Laurent package, meanwhile, is reserved for the biggest spenders. Costing a cool £3,000, it includes two nights in one of Seaham Hall’s penthouse suites, helicopter transfers to the museum and a private curated tour of the exhibition.
Dinner and breakfast on both days are also included along with a 50-minute spa treatment and concierge transfers to and from the train station or airport on arrival and departure.
