TV-famed chef enters boutique market as new bedrooms open above Cotswolds pub

A chef known for his appearances on the BBC’s Great British Menu and Saturday Kitchen has entered the boutique hotel market after launching two bedrooms above his country pub in the Cotswolds.

Head chef Nick Deverell-Smith has opened two newly-designed rooms at The Churchill Arms, making a total number of four, as the traditional pub business goes from strength to strength.

Deverell-Smith has trained under some of the best chefs in the industry including Marco Pierre White, Eric Chavot and Gordon Ramsey before becoming head chef of The Soho House Group and then finally leaving to reopen The Churchill Arms – his first solo venture.

The new bedrooms are home to a number of original features such as old wooden beams, plus modern luxuries including flatscreen TVs, espresso machines, king-size beds, Voyage Wool blankets and Bramley toiletries.
