Luxury country house hotel, Tylney Hall Hotel in Hampshire, has unveiled its new-look Chestnut Suite after a three-week refurbishment.
The makeover, which is part of a wider project to refresh the hotel’s bedrooms and public rooms, has injected new life into the Suite, with new furnishings, lighting, sound system as well as new cloakroom facilities.
The Chestnut Suite also features ceiling beams fashioned from the trees that fell during the great storm of 1987, and the room is traditionally used for meetings and conferences through to private celebrations with a capacity of up to 120 people.
Since the suite was first built in 1989, it has played host to a number of fascinating events including a private dining function for the England Rugby World Cup squad in 1991 and the British Lions team in 1997.
Tylney Hall is one of four hotels that make up the Elite Hotels Collection.
Mark Robinson, general manager at Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens, commented: “Our ongoing refurbishment plan will ensure our guests are receiving the highest standard of luxury. I am extremely pleased with the level of work that the Chestnut Suite has undergone and I am certain delegates will be delighted with it.”
