The team behind Cornwall’s Watergate Bay Hotel has announced the launch of its first collection of hotels, called Another Place.

The aim is create a collection of destination hotels and Rampsbeck Hotel on Ullswater marks the group’s first property.
Set in 18 acres of the Lake District National Park, the 19-bedroom, four red-star hotel has a quarter-mile of lake frontage, coupled with a reputation for great service and food.
“Rampsbeck is the perfect hotel to kick off our new collection,” says Will Ashworth, founder of Another Place and managing director of Watergate Bay Hotel. “There is a strong team and excellent reputation already in place and, ahead of developing plans for additional bedrooms and social spaces, we are looking forward to introducing a few of our own ideas.”
The next property to join Rampsbeck in the Another Place collection will be the Royal William Yard boutique in Plymouth. The 60-bedroom urban hotel, which occupies a Grade-I former naval victualling building, is currently at development stage.
Ashworth adds: “Every property in the Another Place collection will be characterised by a fantastic location and our own unique mix of active, social and relaxing hospitality.”
