Welsh hotel to feature in new Dylan Thomas trail

A new walking trail that guides visitors to a number of sites connected to the late poet Dylan Thomas will see walkers stop off at The Corran, a 21-bedroom hotel in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire.

Thomas lived with his family nearby at The Boathouse – now a museum – for the last four years of his life and the town has become something of a magnet for fans of the author of ‘Under Milk Wood.’

Assistant manager Romeo Rado told Boutique Hotelier: “The trail has been organised by the mayor to boost local business and we are already having a few calls about it. We hope they will stop off for a pint and decide to stay.”
