The White Hart Inn in Saddleworth, Manchester has been named as North Manchester’s Boutique Hotel of the Year at the EatDrinkSleep Awards.
The 12-bedroom boutique inn was voted into the top spot by the public in the first ever year of the special hospitality accolades.
More than 63,000 votes were cast for establishments in the region, across a wide range of categories including Best Dining, Best Wedding Venue and Best Bar.
All the winners were commended at the awards ceremony at Manchester’s Mercure Hotel in March.
The White Hart Inn is housed in an original building that dates back to 1788. As well as the 12 en-suite bedrooms, the Inn is home to four dining areas, each tailored to meet different needs of consumers and holds 2 AA Rosettes for its food offering.
The Inn has recently been awarded 4-star status by the AA and named as a top 50 pub in the Good Food Guide by Waitrose.
Speaking of his win, Inn director Charles Brierley said: “We have been investing heavily in upgrading our bedrooms and are really pleased with the outcome.”
