Wildsmith Hotels gets coveted spotlight in Boutique Hotelier February issue

Andrew Wildsmith, the pioneering hotelier with three boutiques in the Lake District, is the cover star of this month’s Boutique Hotelier magazine.

Wildsmith, who heads up Wildsmith Hotels, the hospitality portfolio which includes Hipping Hall, The Ryebeck and the newest masterpiece Forest Side, sat down with BH to talk trends, the tough trading conditions in the Lakes and plans for the future.

The February issue also features a first look at the new Harbour Hotel in the coastal collection, which opened in Bristol at the tail end of last year to great acclaim. Housed in two former bank buildings, the hotel is vibrant and beautifully boutique, with a spa, new bar and events space due to launch in the coming weeks.

Andrew Coney, general manager of The Hari, reveals his plans for the evolution of the boutique hotel, which has been rebranded from the former Belgraves to become the flagship Hari in a new group of hotels from the property’s owner Aron Harilela.
