The Wood Norton in Worcestershire has launched a new outdoor ceremony location, in a bid to target brides looking to say ‘I do’ alfresco.
The boutique hotel has built the new area, including a fully licensed bespoke wedding pavilion, which pays homage to the property’s regal beginnings back in 1897.
Designed by local landscapers, Keyscape Landscape Garden Design, and fabricated and built by Angelini and Partners, Italy, the new location will officially open on July 13, with several weddings bookings already in place.
With nearly 100 weddings already confirmed for 2017, this is set to be The Wood Norton’s most successful year to date.
General Manager, Steve Sweeny said: “I am ecstatic about the launch of The Wood Norton’s new outdoor ceremony location, and feel it will be an excellent asset to our wedding offering. Over the last five years, The Wood Norton has become an increasingly popular wedding venue for couples from across Worcestershire and further afield – wowed by the look and feel of the venue, not to mention the dedication of Sandie and the weddings team.”
Located just outside of Evesham, The Wood Norton is a Grade-II listed Victorian manor house originally crafted for French royalty. Since its official reopening in late 2012 the 50- hotel has become a popular establishment for fine dining, conferences and events, and for tourists. The property also underwent an extensive £10m renovation process in 2016.
