The Coach House at Middleton Lodge in North Yorkshire has announced a new partnership with a local beauty and wellness expert who will run the boutique hotel’s new treatment rooms when they open in June.
James Allison and his partner, Rebecca, owners of The Coach House hotel and restaurant, have welcomed Selena Blain from Cocoon in Darlington to look after the boutique hotel’s new wellness facility after launching a search to find someone suitable in March.
Following its successful opening in October 2014, The Coach House revealed earlier this year that it will be opening two treatment rooms, which will be available for people from across the region to use, as well as hotel guests.
After a lengthy decision process, Selena at Cocoon was chosen to collaborate with the Georgian country estate to launch The Treatment Rooms at Middleton Lodge.
With more than ten years’ experience in the beauty therapy industry, she will lead a team of therapists, who will be providing holistic and natural treatments for all its guests.
Rebecca comments: “With 26 bedrooms available across the estate now, and more to come soon, The Treatment Rooms at Middleton Lodge provides our guests with the next logical step in our offering.
“Since we announced our plans, we’ve had a lot of interest from potential partners. We were looking for someone who would be able to take our concept, run with it and make it work successfully. Selena and her team are a great fit and understand in-depth what we’re trying to achieve. Their knowledge, expertise and professionalism will be the perfect addition to The Coach House.”
Selena comments: “I am excited to be part of this next chapter for both The Coach House and Cocoon. After being based in Darlington for seven years, I was keen to expand the Cocoon beauty offering in a unique and completely distinctive way. By collaborating with the team at Middleton Lodge, I am able to expand our range, offer bespoke holistic treatments yet at the same time maintain the quality and service that Cocoon clients have come to know and love.”
The Treatment Rooms are planned to open for June 2015 and will include two separate treatment rooms, two shower rooms and a dedicated area for pedicures and manicures, relaxation lounge and outside seating area.
