Guests who stay at Beck Hall in Yorkshire in January are being given the chance to state their rate, as part of a new deal run by the owners.
Throughout January, owners of the 18-bedroom country hotel Andrew and Louise Macbeth will promote #atyourbeckandcall, allowing guests to choose what to pay upon check-out.
Louise is the former Editor of Boutique Hotelier magazine and along with her husband, acquired the historic building in July 2014.
Now after being inspired by Channel 4’s Four in a Bed, the couple will run the new initiative asking guests to fill out a short questionnaire evaluating their experience before deciding whether to pay the full price for their stay, overpay or underpay.
Usual winter rates start from £55 per room per night including a full Yorkshire breakfast cooked to order using local ingredients, and free wifi.
“Beck Hall #atyourbeckandcall is a great way for us to encourage more valuable feedback from our guests so that we can continue offering the most enjoyable, affordable experiences in this beautiful part of the world,” said Louise Macbeth.
“The 18-bedroom hotel is a stone’s throw away from Malham Cove and other stunning Yorkshire Dales sights. Many guests return year after year for our comfy beds, hearty breakfasts, roaring fire and babbling beck. We receive lots of great reviews so we’re confident that our guests will enjoy their stay and pay fairly,” she added.
Guests are also invited to share their experience of Beck Hall and the promotion via social media including Facebook and Twitter: #atyourbeckandcall
The New Year promotion follows the recent unveiling of Beck Hall’s newly refurbished snug with open fire and honesty bar; reception and riverside dining area.
