Andrew Birch has been appointed executive chef at Ellenborough Park in the Cotswolds.
Previously executive chef at Lainston House in Winchester, part of the Exclusive Hotels portfolio, Birch will take up his new role on Monday 15 July.
He will oversee all food offerings at the luxury 15th century country estate, home to The Horsebox, The Restaurant and an afternoon tea experience in the Great Hall.
Ellenborough Park’s general manager Marwan Hemchaoui, who joined Ellenborough Park in 2018, added there were ‘exciting things to come for the hotel’s food offering’ and that he was ‘looking forward to revealing more in the forthcoming months’.
Prior to his time at Lainston House where he was from July 2017, Birch also boasts experience at the likes of Fishmore Hall and The Montagu Arms Hotel.
Hemchaoui took over from Oliver Williams in September 2018, joining from his role at The Vineyard in Newbury.
