Lucknam Park is to not replace the role of managing director following the departure of Claire Randall earlier this year, instead promoting key senior team members to lead the property as a group.
The five-star, 42-bedroom hotel near Bath has promoted current resident manager Sakis Dinas to the role of hotel manager, while Silmiya Hendricks moves from the position of director of sales and marketing to become commercial director.
Chef Hywel Jones, who heads up the hotel’s Michelin star Restaurant Hywel Jones, will take on the title of executive chef / director of F&B.
Finance controller/company secretary, Sarah-Jayne Reynolds, will continue to have key role in the strategic direction of the hotel.
Speaking to Boutique Hotelier, Silmiya Hendricks said: “This is significant time at Lucknam Park. We are excited and grateful to the owners for giving us the opportunity to manage one of the UK’s best county house hotels. We are committed to delivering exceptional service to our guests and a profitable business to the owners of Lucknam Park.”
Claire Randall departed her position as managing director at Lucknam Park in February this year, following 20 years with the company. She was then appointed general manager at The Idle Rocks and St Mawes Hotel in Truro.
Lucknam Park is set in 500 acres of grounds and is home to Restaurant Hywel Jones, the luxury ESPA spa, equestrian centre and cookery school.
