FIRST LOOK: Andrew Brownsword Hotels reopens Minster Mill after £4.5m makeover

MMI-Exterior-1

On March 11, Andrew Brownsword Hotels opened Minster Mill as a standalone hotel after a £4.5m refurbishment that saw it separate from its sister property, The Old Swan.

The hotel, set within a 20th century mill, has been redesigned by owners Andrew and Christina Brownsword, who worked alongside architect Simon Morray-Jones to create the property’s new look.

All 38 bedrooms have been given a Scandi-style makeover, while a new restaurant at the front property headed up by 2017 MasterChef semi-finalist Tom Moody, previously at the Slaughters Manor House, has also now opened.

Minster Mill is also home to six private events spaces that can cater for up to 200 guests, with the hotel situated in 65 acres of gardens.

The Garden Spa at Minster Mill was originally opened in 2016 and offers ESPA treatments with three treatment rooms, alongside an indoor heated plunge pool, poolside rock sauna, aroma steam room, ice fountain and tropical rain forest showers.

Andrew Brownsword Hotels is a collection of 14 privately-owned hotels, comprising eight countryside properties, five city centre ABode hotels, and Sydney House Chelsea, owned by Christina and Andrew Brownsword.
