The first Laura Ashley The Tea Room in Cornwall and the sixth in the Laura Ashley collection is set to open its doors this month at The Cornwall Hotel.
The all new Laura Ashley The Tea Room will be officially opening to the public on May 25, and will be situated in the hotel’s main building, decorated in Laura Ashley style.
Rebecca Coonan, general manager at The Cornwall, said: “We’re really excited for our new tea room to be opening later this month! We have been hard at work to make sure that we are ready for the grand opening and we are looking forward to unveiling the beautiful tea room to our guests.”
Kay Cullen, Laura Ashley designer, said: “Our inspiration behind The Cornwall design was inspired by the hotel’s location close to the coast, yet nestled in a beautiful tropical garden setting. We named the concept ‘Into the Blue’ to give the tea room a distinct identity with blue being the stand out colour mixed with contrasting pops of orange and green to reflect the wonderful colours in the surrounding trees as they change season.”
Set within a 43-acre estate of St Austell, The Cornwall offers a range of accommodation options; from the contemporary woodland bedrooms to The Cornwall Cottage.
There is also The Clearing Spa offering spa and leisure facilities both indoor and outdoor.
The Laura Ashley tea room launched at Burnham Beeches Hotel in August 2018 and was the first to open in the south of England.
Corus Hotels’ other Laura Ashley branded hotels are The Belsfield in Eindermere, and The Manor Elstree.
