A London pub in Leytonstone has entered the hotel market with the unveiling of ten new boutique bedrooms.
The Red Lion is owned by pub company Antic, founded by Anthony Thomas with the opening of the 10 bedrooms marking the only second pub with rooms within its portfolio.
Situated on the upper levels of the property, the bedrooms have ‘individual style and character’ with vintage and upcycled furniture combined with luxury fabrics to create a relaxing atmosphere.
Bedrooms also feature products from Nespresso and Aromatherapy Associates, as well as breakfast baked goods sourced from the local bakery ‘The Wild Goose Bakery’ and keyless entry systems.
The pub has also boasts a function room, the Leytonstone ballroom, which is a popular venue for weddings and events and was the first London venue that Led Zeppelin played.
A total of 37 bedrooms sit across the Antic group in two properties, The Red Lion and Westow House in Crystal Palace
Antic operates 44 pubs across London with another three under construction.
