New Road Hotel becomes latest property to offer co-working business space

The New Road Hotel is to open its doors for those looking for co-working spaces in East London.

The hotel, which is owned by three Bangladeshi brothers, Monsur, Masrur and Moksud Malik and home to Mr White’s English Chophouse restaurant in a franchise deal with Black and White Hospitality, has put in a place a three-tier package to provide local businesses and start-ups space to work.

The three options, Pop In, Clock In or Join In, have been designed to offer flexibility based on people’s needs.

Hotel general manager Joost de Kruiff, said: “We like to think that we’re leading the way in the local hospitality and lifestyle scene and the mixture of co-working desks, designated spaces, and small offices are all perfect for a growing business.

“We’ve created an atmosphere with an excellent restaurant offering by the team of Mr White’s English Chophouse and a collaboration with specialist music agency, Open Ear founded by Brian d’Souza aka Auntie Flo wo is a renowned DJ, producer, radio host and music psychologist, who provides bespoke curation for our co-working environment.”

Located on the site of an old textile factory, formerly known as Service House, New Road Hotel opened in April 2018 and comprises 79 bedrooms alongside the restaurant.
