Newly transformed Hull city centre boutique hotel on the hunt for new owner

Silvers

A boutique hotel, bar and restaurant in Hull which has recently been given a makeover is now on the hunt for a new owner to drive the business.

Silvers Bar & Hotel in Silver Street comprises 17 bedrooms alongside drinking and dining spaces and following the refurbishment last year, turnover topped the £1m mark.

The business, which is currently closed Mondays and Tuesdays, has been put on the market by owner Karl Geoffrey for £1.8m, with the advert saying the sale was an ‘excellent opportunity for an experienced bar and hotel operator to acquire a substantial freehold business with a turnkey hotel in the centre of Hull.”

Last year, Geoffrey said that the new-look property would help ‘bring people back to Hull’s Old Town’.

The advert continued: “With the bar restaurant already well-established and highly profitable, there is even further potential for trade increase by extending the trading hours through the week.”
