Rudding Park in Yorkshire has created a new space within its ground to be able to offer spa treatments in its secluded gardens.
The four-star hotel in Harrogate has opened a woodland glade, to allow guests to experience a range of treatments whilst ‘connecting with nature’.
Inspired by forest bathing, each spa treatment will be delivered while guests listen to birdsong and feel a gentle breeze as the therapist performs the chosen treatment.
Rudding Park Spa opened its new £9.5m roof top spa garden in May 2017, following almost a 13-year project.
The project saw a new 45,000 sq ft building constructed on the 300-acre site, complete with 11 treatment rooms, a rasul, steam rooms, indoor pool and outdoor infinity pool, a new Horto restaurant, saunas and a range of mind and sense zones.
Earlier this month, BH reported that the hotel had also become the first in the UK to offer treatments that use cannabis oil.
