11 Cadogan Hotels, part of Iconic Luxury Hotels, is on the hunt for a new general manager to take the reins of the property when it reopens this summer.
The luxury London hotel, which is the only hotel in the capital part of Relais and Chateaux, is calling for a new ‘dynamic, energetic and hands-on’ GM to take the business forward when it is allowed to reopen its doors to the public following government advice.
In a post on LinkedIn, Andrew Stembridge, executive director at Iconic Luxury Hotels, said that following a multi-million refurbishment over the last couple of years, the hotel was looking for a new general manager to ‘take the business forward’ after the Covid-10 crisis and ‘drive ROI’ from the investment.
The post read: “11 Cadogan Gardens is an independent hotel, steeped in history and full of character and we are looking for a personality with demonstrable leadership skills to take the property and the exceptional team that they will be inheriting forward. In a competitive market, a strong commercial background is also key along with strong business and industry relationships. Interested applicants (no agencies) should email their CV to Anita Bower, HR Director.”
The luxury hotel in Chelsea, home to 56 bedrooms and new Hans’ Bar & Grill restaurant, is part of Iconic Luxury Hotels alongside Chewton Glen, Cliveden and Lygon Arms.
The fifth property in the portfolio will be the Mayfair Townhouse when it opens later this year.
