71% of hospitality businesses struggle to implement sustainable changes

New data has found that 71% of hospitality businesses are struggling to implement sustainability changes, due to a lack of suppliers and available budgets.

Research from Brita highlighted that over half of hospitality businesses (51%) believe a greater choice of sustainable suppliers would help them to achieve their sustainability goals, while 39% think having more available budget would support them to achieve their environmental goals.

35% agree increasing the longevity of equipment is the third key area which would help them to become more sustainable.

This research was conducted by global water-filtration brand BRITA Professional to support the hospitality industry to be more sustainable.
