Abbey Hotel Bath encourages guests down to garden-inspired terrace with new summer menus

Abbey Hotel exterior

Abbey Hotel Bath has opened its terrace ready for the summer, with an English country garden vibe and new menus from head chef Rupert Taylor to entice guests.

The leafy terrace now open will host a series of pop-ups, live music and food and drinks expert masterclasses throughout the season and offer a new English Garden cocktail, a blend of Chase GB gin, elderflower liqueur, apple and lime.

The new menu from Taylor is peppered with light dishes such as courgette and charred asparagus summer salads, heritage tomatoes with sherry vinegar and duck and lemongrass kebabs.

Taylor will also host a monthly Supper Club, inside the Abbey Hotel at the signature Allium Restaurant, which he took over in February from Chris Staines.

The Abbey Hotel Bath is owned by Ian and Christa Taylor, and is part of the Kaleidoscope Collection, consisting of No.15 Great Pulteney Street, and Villa at Henrietta Park, also in Bath.
