The Ampersand Hotel in London is surprising guests this summer with a little twist to their stay, inspired by Hans Christian Anderson’s Princess and The Pea fairytale.

From June, the luxury boutique, part of Small Hotels of the World, will give guests the added extra of a secret card concealed beneath their pillow, which once discovered, will hold a special reward for each guest.

Designed to give consumers added value during their stay, the rewards range from a garden pea cocktail in the hotel’s Apero restaurant, a complimentary afternoon tea for two in The Drawing Room, and tickets to Diana: Her Fashion Story at Kensington Palace, plus an overnight stay at The Ampersand Hotel.

The offer will run from June 5 until July 3.

The Ampersand Hotel opened in 2012 and is home to 111 bedrooms, Apero a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant and French meets British style The Drawing Room eatery.
