Another Place, The Lake has partnered with British lifestyle brand Joules to debut a new bedroom suite in a first for both businesses.
The hotel, which opened in August 2017 from the team behind Watergate Bay Hotel in Cornwall, has unveiled a new 50 sq mtr bedroom designed by Joules, curated by the brand’s art director Hannah Coates and inspired by nature and the surrounding Lake District landscape.
The colourful collaboration introduces Joules’ personality through the addition of a sofa and armchair, bedding, kitchenware, flasks and a radio.
The walls and soft furnishings are finished with a palette of greens, soft grey and striking flashes of mustard yellow.
Will Ashworth, chief executive of Another Place, The Lake says: “Following our opening just over 18 months ago, we continue to invest in and refine our guest experience – never sitting still. This project, as part of our ongoing collaboration with Joules, is a great example of the constant innovation we strive for and a great example of two like-minded brands working together. We hope that our guests enjoy this distinctive new space, as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.”
The team at Watergate Bay Hotel has a long-standing relationship with Joules, which began back in 2009 when Joules supported the Polo on the Beach event at Watergate Bay.
This is the first project with the Another Place team, which will also see Joules provide uniform and unique brand touches throughout the hotel for guests to use, including wellies and dog beds.
Another Place is set on the shores of Ullswater in 18 acres of parkland. The home comprises the Swim Club, home to a 20-metre lake-view swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, cardio room and three treatment rooms.
The hotel also has two restaurants; The Living Space and Rampsbeck Restaurant.
