Astro Lighting empowers workforce after moving into dynamic new home

Astro Lighting has a new home, in the form of a dynamic new environment created to take the creative British lighting business forward.

The new space, in Harlow Essex, is 86,000 sq ft in size and allows for more efficient product handling.

With the design and prototyping department, photographic studio, showroom, warehousing and despatch all now under one roof, The Astro Building will help the brand continue on its impressive growth spike since its launch in 1997.

Astro began as a home-based business almost 20 years ago, founded by John Fearon and James Bassant, chairman and design director, who are still very influential in the business today.

Now the brand has grown to a £20m company doing business with some 70 countries around the world. Astro designs are present in some of London’s most exclusive hotels including The Goring and 11 Cadogan Gardens.

The new-look Astro Building also boasts a design-led interior, which the growing team at Astro are already enjoying.

Since Astro launched, the company has enjoyed strong consistent growth, and now hope the new facility will help the brand to continue on this path.
