Boutique Hotelier can announce that Astro Lighting has come on board to sponsor the Young Trailblazers category in the second annual Power List for 2017.
The Power List is a celebration of the top 50 business leaders, inspiration operators and trailblazing staff members who have made an impact in the hospitality industry over the last 12 months.
Now Astro Lighting has joined to support the Young Trailblazers category, who ‘feel strongly about supporting up and coming talent’.
“‘Young Trailblazers’ offer a fresh perspective on design,” says a spokesperson from Astro, “with new and unique ideas to elevate boutique hotels in the ever-competitive hospitality industry. Ensuring we promote and support these individuals wherever possible will help to open up new opportunities for them and encourage their involvement in the industry.
“At Astro, we feel strongly about supporting up and coming talent, and are always keen to work with innovative young professionals with their fresh perspective on design and ideas on emerging trends that help to mould the industry. We actively partner with local schools and University students, helping with work experience and career advice.”
From the executives behind the most influential boutique brands to the rising stars putting their own hotels on the map, the Power List is set to be once again the ultimate record of the people helping to make the UK boutique hotel market one of the world’s greatest.
The Power List is aimed at recognising the people at owner and manager level who play a major part in shaping the way that their hotels look and how staff operate in their business.
The Power List 2017 will be published in the bumper April issue of Boutique Hotelier magazine, with ten people categorised into the following groups:
– Market marvels
– Industry titans – sponsored by Frima
– Business leaders
– Young trailblazers
– Unsung heroes – sponsored by Miele Professional
