Leading booking engine Avvio has done the double and made it two years on the trot for the sponsorship of the Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards.
Last year saw the company come on board for the first time to sponsor the Revenue and Reservations Manager of the Year award, which saw Freya Coffey from Aviator by TAG crowned as winner at the ceremony held on 17th October at Hilton Olympia in London.
Now for 2018, Avvio will once again support the award at the ceremony which is always held on the first day of the Independent Hotel Show.

We’re always impressed by the dedication and enthusiasm that is shown by teams running boutique hotels around the UK, and these awards are an amazing way to recognise the commitment of individual stars within the industry.”
The awards process starts in May when promotions will begin before the nominations open in July where hotels across the country will be asked to submit entries for their hard-working staff across a total of 11 categories.
“The awards are a brilliant way to recognise a member of your team,” says Chris, “regardless of the size or reach of your property. Even being nominated is a huge achievement, by demonstrating that your hotel goes above and beyond to improve the experience for every guest.”
From the nominations, a shortlist of five is drawn up for each category and then the winner decided upon from a panel of judges.
Looking ahead to the next 12 months, Avvio has some exciting innovation plans in the pipeline to demonstrate continued growth and commitment to the hospitality industry.
