Barnett Hill appoints new general manager

Barnett Hill in Guildford, part of Alexander Hotels Collection, has appointed a new general manager.

The hotel has welcomed Nicolas Roulier to head up the team, who boasts experience at The Pig, Luton Hoo and Chichester Harbour Hotel.

His most recent role was with Luxury Family Hotels until November 2019.

Roulier joined the team at the end of February and has begun to implement his ideas and plans for the future of the hotel.

He said: “I am very happy to have joined the Barnett Hill team at an exciting time for the hotel. With recent refurbishments now complete we are ready to take the hotel to the next level and build on past successes. I am getting to know the guests, the team and the hotel and very much looking forward to what the future has to hold at Barnett Hill. The hotel has a beautiful setting atop a hill in the beautiful Surreys Hills and I am loving working in such stunning surroundings.”

Peter Hinchcliffe, co-owner of Barnett Hill, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Nicolas to the team at Barnett Hill and know that he will help us to bring our vision for the hotel to life with his enthusiasm, breadth of experience and his knowledge within the industry.”

Alexander Hotels is owned and operated by Peter and Deborah Hinchcliffe and comprises five properties in the south of England. The group acquired Great Fosters in Egham in November 2018.

The group consists of Alexander House, Langshott Manor, Rowhill Grange, Barnett Hill and Great Fosters.
