Bayliss chairs influential Manchester Hoteliers Association


Paul Bayliss MBE, general manager of Macdonald Manchester Hotel & Spa, is the newly appointed chair of the Manchester Hoteliers Association.

The association was set up to champion the Manchester hotel community, giving input to managers in the city’s marketing and tourism activities.

Bayliss has been an acctove member of the Association since 2009 and brings a wealth 24 years of exeprience to the top posting. He will work with and work with a committee influencing marketing, tourism activities, careers and charity events.

Bayliss was instrumental in the successful launch the Macdonald Hotels Academy earlier this year, which helps young people through apprentice schemes in the hotel industry.

He is also a guest speaker for TripAdvisor and the UK Housekeepers Association.
