After a four-year renovation project, Belmond’s hotly-anticipated London debut is to open its doors in February 2019.
Belmond Cadogan Hotel will reopen early next year, with bookings for the 54-bedroom luxury property now available from February 1, 2019.
Comprising five 1800s Queen Anne-style buildings, the new hotel will be home to restaurant headed up by chef Adam Handling, a spa, fitness centre and library, as well as over 400 pieces of original art.
The lobby and bedrooms have been designed by GA Design International and architects Blair Associates.
Former guests to the hotel, situated on the border of Chelsea and Knightsbridge, include Oscar Wilde and socialite Lillie Langtry.
Belmond Cadogan Hotel will be the first London property for brand Belmond, which was acquired this month by French luxury good brand, LVMH, in a deal worth over £2bn.
Belmond also operates the Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire.
