Andrew McPherson is aiming for new luxury hotel, Grantley Hall, to be the ‘Chewton Glen of the north’ when the business opens its doors next month.
The general manager, who moved from Lucknam Park for the position at the iconic property in Yorkshire, is the cover star for this month’s edition of Boutique Hotelier, and inside shares his vision for the new hotel that has been the subject of a reported £70m renovation, four-year transformation after being acquired Valeria Sykes.
The 47-bedroom hotel, training academy, Three Graces Spa and Elite gym is one of the most hotly-anticipated hotel launches of the year, with McPherson and his team said to be ‘itching to open’.
