A boutique hotel and restaurant in Carmarthenshire, Wales has closed its doors suddenly, leaving guests and suppliers in limbo.
The Waun Wyllt Inn in Five Roads, Llanelli, which opened in 2014, has ceased trading immediately due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’, according to a post on its website.
The notice read:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances The Waun Wyllt Inn will be closed with immediate effect from 2nd March 2020.
“We would like to thank all our customers and suppliers for the support they have provided us since we opened The Waun Wyllt in August 2014.”
The property was bought by local family business T.A.D Builders in 2013.
The five-bedroom pub is now listed for sale with Avison Young, with a guide price of £450k.
The property has been a popular restaurant and wedding venue since launching six years ago and had won numerous awards.
