No. 10 Cardiff

A boutique hotel in Cardiff city centre has been sold to new owners from a guide price of £2.15m in a deal through Savills.

Green Duck Hotels Limited, a property development company, has sold No.10 Cardiff hotel to The Spires.

The hotel was acquired by the Green Duck Group, led by director Jolyon Joseph, in 2010 before the company carried out a complete transformation on the building to make it one of the area’s ‘greenest’ hotels.

The building was previously an architect’s office and had been derelict for almost eight years.

The 21 bedroom boutique hotel is located in the heart of Cardiff, backing on to Bute Park and half a mile from Cardiff Castle.

The hotel also benefits from a restaurant with 30 covers, bar and a function suite.

James Greenslade, associate director in the hotels team at Savills, comments: “No. 10 Cardiff has built up an excellent reputation as a quality boutique hotel with an excellent food and drink offering. We are pleased to have secured new owners for the property for the next chapter of its life.”
