Boutique hotel rides high in Warwickshire Polo Ground’s £122m masterplan

Plans have been revealed for an ambition development at the Dallas Burston Polo Club in Southam, Warwickshire, which would see a £122m, 12-year project completed on the 600-acre site.

A major part of the plan would see a new ‘exclusive’ boutique hotel created, home to more than 50 bedrooms and garden rooms to complement the polo club’s extensive facilities.

The complete site currently features six polo grounds, the IXL Events Centre, wedding venues, the 2.4 acre SuperArena and Clubhouse.

The Milestone Hare has also recently opened at the polo ground, following a £1.5m investment and is already proving a hit.

Major Richard Carney MBE, Dallas Burston Polo Club’s operations director, said: “The future of the traditional British pub can often seem grim.

“Yet The Millstone Hare shows that quality pubs that offer a unique experience and good food and drink can thrive – despite national trends.”
