BREAKING NEWS: Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards first shortlist revealed


After months of anticipation, we can now start to reveal the staff members who have been shortlisted for a Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Award 2017.

From today we will announce which five impressive employees have stood out from the rest in each category – with two categories revealed each day up until Friday – now the team at Boutique Hotelier has whittled down the entries from hundreds received from hotels all over the country.

From country house hotels to boutiques in the city, managers, owners and staff were eager to give their employees the recognition they deserve.

We can now reveal that the five finalists who have made the shortlist for Bar Manager of the Year award, as:

Andrew Morton – Mullion Cove Hotel

Luke Pearson – The Edgbaston Hotel

Carlo Lorenzon – The LaLit London

Geoff Knight – Cotswold House Hotel

Paul Minea – The Vineyard

Now with the shortlist announced, the winner will be decided by a judging panel – consisting of five top industry experts – which will then be revealed at the Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards on October 17 at Hilton Olympia.

The event, taking place on the first day of Independent Hotel Show, is free to attend for hoteliers and staff and will be a night of free-flowing Champagne and canapés.
