Bridge House Hotel in Ireland rounds off bedroom refurbishment with new GM appointment


The Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore, Ireland, has appointed a new general manager as it completes its recent bedroom refurbishment and ploughs ahead with the second phase of development.

The four-star hotel has welcomed Mario Puchowski to head up the new-look property, who joins from his most recent position as group operations manager at Sό Hotels, where he oversaw the financial and operational management of six four-star properties.

The Bridge House Hotel has recently completed a bedroom refurbishment across its 70 rooms and is now preparing to move ahead with a second phase of renovations.

A native of Poland, Puchowski originally moved to Ireland in 2000 to work as resort duty manager in Adare Manor. During his 12 years there, he worked in a variety of roles including director of operations, revenue manager and clubhouse food and beverage manager.

He has also built up a wealth of experience in four- and five-star properties in Ireland and abroad.

Puchowski has also managed his own café called Café Heaven before selling in 2012.

The Bridge House Hotel is owned by hotelier Patrick Leneghan.
