Brighton boutique goes on the market for almost £2m for the freehold

Blanch House Hotel, a three-star seaside town house hotel in Brighton, has been brought to the market through Christie & Co for a guide price of £1,899,000 for the freehold interest.

The hotel occupies a Grade-II listed Georgian town house arranged over three floors in Kemp Town in the city centre.

The hotel comprises 12 bedrooms, a residents lounge and cocktail bar and restaurant which doubles up as a function room.

The property also features an owners’ or staff apartment on the lower ground floor.

Blanch House Hotel has been owned by Jeremy Ornellas and Kerry Turner for more than seven years and are looking to semi-retire following the sale.

During their ownership, the property has undergone a complete refurbishment, presenting a new owner with the opportunity to take over and continue trading immediately.
