Brighton hotel owners ‘Charm’ their way into second acquisition

The owners of the Charm Hotel in Brighton have snapped up a second property in the area. 

Linh and Leo Nguyen have taken over Sea Spray, a three-star hotel in the New Steine Kemptown with the ambition to bring it up to a four-star standard.

The hotel is home to 16 bedrooms and is of a quirky design, with rooms themed around vibrant cities around the world.

Both The Charm Hotel and Sea Spray are part of the Golden Lotus portfolio of branded properties.

Speaking to the Brighton Argus, general manager Leo Nguyen said: “This is hotel number two for the Golden Lotus group in Brighton and the UK and we hope to get the Sea Spray gradually up to a similar standard as The Charm.

“It is currently work in progress while we improve all the facilities at our new hotel in the city.”

The focus on Sea Spray is now staff service and investing in design.
