Over 12 years Neil has created a successful group of hospitality businesses called the Seren Collection in South West Wales, which are widely regarded for consistently delivering exceptional quality.
The business includes the acclaimed Grove of Narberth Hotel & Restaurant which was purchased as a derelict building in 2007, and two beach side destination restaurants Coast and Beach House launched in the villages of Saundersfoot and Oxwich respectively. As a passionate Welshman, Neil’s objective is simple and that is to build a high quality all year, food and hospitality destinations for the rural economy in Wales.
Neil and his wife Zoe were newcomers to the sector and have worked tirelessly, investing everything they have and all their profits to create a hotel and restaurant group that can stand shoulder to shoulder with many of the leading venues in the UK. They have won national acclaim and many awards including Pride of Britain Hotel of the Year in 2015, Good Hotel Guide Hotel of the Year for Wales in 2016, Sunday Times Hotel of the Year for Wales 2018 and AA Restaurant of the Year for Wales 2016/18.
Separate to The Seren Collection, Neil launched an exciting new tour operator called Routescape in November 2018 presenting many of the country’s leading hotel and restaurant venues to a growing international market. The aim is to inspire more international visitors to explore the country well beyond the traditional tourist hotspots. Routescape creates exceptional journeys delivering authentic travel experiences with a true sense of place, all focused around great food.
Neil also sits on the Board of Pride of Britain Hotel Consortia and the South West Wales Tourism Forum.
