CAU alumni steps across to hospitality to spearhead Harbour Hotels

Harbour Hotels has announced the appointment of Richard Clark as its new group director of operations.

Boasting an extensive record in the hospitality sector Clark, formerly managing director of CAU, will now be responsible for the day to day operations of the Harbour Hotels Group, focusing particularly on its food and beverage concepts.

Prior to CAU, Clark progressed from restaurant manager to operations director of the Elysium Group, gaining significant experience in managing expanding groups and ensuring high levels of brand and product consistency.

Mike Warren, managing director of Harbour Hotels, said: “We are excited to welcome someone with Richard’s excellent background and expertise within the high street dining environment to our expanding group. With a particular focus on our Jetty restaurant and HarBAR concepts, I am very confident that Richard will make a substantial contribution to the on-going success of the business.

Now established as one of the UK’s most exciting luxury hotel groups, Harbour Hotels spans 13 coastal, country and city locations across the UK. Having recently opened in Chichester, Guildford, Brighton and Bristol, the Group will open in Southampton next month, with the introduction of its new £25m yacht-inspired hotel.
