Celebrating personal service: Avvio steps up to sponsor the Boutique Hotelier Awards

Avvio, one of Europe’s leading booking engine and digital services provider for hoteliers and other accommodation providers, is thrilled to be sponsoring this year’s Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards.

As a committed supporter of the hospitality industry, Avvio appreciates the importance of passion and hard-work in delivering exceptional personal service across all online and offline channels and this is exactly what this awards event will celebrate.

Avvio will be supporting the Reservations & Revenue Manager of the Year Award, praising the phenomenal effort and skill it takes for independent hoteliers to keep these operations efficient and to ensure every guest’s experience is smooth and seamless, from booking to post-stay.

Frank Reeves, CEO and co-founder of Avvio, explains, “As technology advances and businesses increasingly adopt digital, it’s essential that we don’t lose sight of quality personal service – and that’s why these awards are integral to the hotel industry. Hoteliers often underestimate the importance of delivering novel guest experience via the hotel website. Avvio works hard to provide quality software and services, which enable hoteliers to deliver a seamless guest experience, from initial search to booking a room, to post-stay. In the digital age, personal service isn’t just face to face – it’s across all channels. It has become increasingly complex and so it’s more important than ever to recognise your outstanding people through awards such as these.”

Now in its fourth year, Boutique Hotelier will name eleven nominated personal service stars, including General Manager of the Year, Restaurant Manager of the Year and Housekeeping Manager of the Year. Hosted by Boutique Hotelier at the Hilton Olympia in London, the ceremony has become one of the industry’s must-attend events and will bring together around three hundred hoteliers and industry leaders in an evening of sparkling celebration.

Zoe Monk, Editor of Boutique Hotelier, summarises, “The Awards search for individuals and teams who work tirelessly every day to give their guests the best possible service. This personal professional service is at the heart of the boutique hotel industry where attention to the smallest guest requirement is as much a part of the boutique experience as the individually styled rooms and the passion poured into every design decision. We’re delighted to have Avvio sponsoring the event. As an industry leader in optimising hotel software to deliver an exceptional online personal experience, Avvio is a perfect fit.”

The Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards will take place on the first night of the Independent Hotel Show, the biggest trade show for independent hoteliers. The ceremony will offer free-flowing champagne, canapes and the great spirit that the hospitality industry is known for. Nominations for the awards will open in July, so if you have any personal service stars in your hotel team, make sure you put them forward.
