Channel 4 has commissioned a three-part TV documentary series following Best Western Great Britain staff.
The Plum Pictures-produced series will be screened in 2020, and will focus on the chain’s employees, including GB CEO Robert Paterson.
Paterson and his Yorkshire HQ team are currently aiming to expand Best Western in the UK.
Paterson commented: “Best Western hotels have always delivered hospitality differently – packed with personality and proudly independent – but in uncertain times, sometimes that isn’t enough.
“I’m proud to partner with Plum Pictures and Channel 4 to take viewers behind closed doors of our brand and our quirky collection of hotels as we work on delivering an exciting new future for one of the oldest brands in the business.”
Best Western GB is part of Best Western International, based in Phoenix, Arizona. The brand was founded in 1946.
Best Western is now represented in more than 80 countries, with over 4,000 hotels all independently owned and managed.
